Disciplines Offered

  • High Jump: An event where an athlete leaps off one foot to clear a horizontal bar set at a specific height, landing on a mat. The goal is to jump over the bar without knocking it down.
  • Long Jump: This event involves an athlete sprinting towards a takeoff board, then jumping off one foot and landing in a sand pit. The objective is to achieve the farthest distance possible from the takeoff board.
  • Triple Jump: An event where an athlete performs a sequence of three consecutive phases: a hop, a skip, and a jump, all culminating in a landing in a sand pit. The aim is to cover the maximum distance from the takeoff board through this series of leaps.
  • Shot Put: In this event, an athlete throws a heavy spherical object (shot) from within a throwing circle. The Shot Put is more of a pushing motion rather than a traditional throw.
  • Hurdles: This event is clearing over an obstacle that is placed at a certain height and distance based on age and gender.
  • Weight Throw: This event requires an athlete to spin within a throwing circle to generate momentum to release a heavy ball attached to a short chain.
  • Sprints: This event emphasizes speed development and sprinting mechanics. Participants will engage in various drills that focus on proper sprinting technique and form.
  • Distance: This event centers around building endurance and stamina through paced running and specialized drills that train runners for longer distances.
