Where is the TRACK at new balance located?

the TRACK is conveniently located within Boston landing at 91 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135

 

Where can I park?

How many meters is the TRACK?

the TRACK at new balance is a 200m hydraulically banked track with a 60 meter sprint lane in the middle.

 

Where are throwing events located?

Throwing events occur on the 2nd Floor, in the multi-purpose gymnasium. Only Athletes are permitted on Level 2. Spectators can watch from Level 3. Continue down the main concourse following signs to the Gymnasium/Throwing Area and walk through 2 sets of double doors to the spectating area. 

 

How do athletes get to the throwing area?

Continue down the main concourse following signs to the Gymnasium/Throwing Area. Before entering the viewing area overlooking the Gymnasium, take a right. The stairwell door is designated by a tall red sign directing you to the level 2 Gymnasium/Throwing area. 

 

Do you have Athletic Trainers and where are they located?

Athletic Trainers are provided by individual event organizers and stationed in the facility’s Southeast corner. For reference, the grandstands are on the facility’s North side. 

 

Do you have a separate area for athlete’s to warm-up?

There is a 170m warm-up track available to athletes at the start of their scheduled meet on level 4 of our facility. To access the warm-up track, continue down the main concourse following signs to the Gymnasium/Throwing Area. Before entering the viewing area overlooking the Gymnasium, take a right. The stairwell door is designated by a tall red sign directing you to the level 4 warm-up area.  

 

What other services are available for visiting athletes?

We are excited to introduce our new Recovery Room. The Recovery Room is a safe and convenient space where athletes can access different modalities to aid in their warm-up and recovery. The Recovery Room is on the 4th floor of our facility in the middle of the warm-up track. Warm-up/Recovery sessions are available in 30 minutes appointments for a nominal fee. 

Who from the facility do I contact in an emergency?

Immediately call 911 then alert the TRACK at new balance staff who will continue emergency protocols.

 

Where can I find emergency supplies?

AED’s are located on each floor outside the west elevators. There are AED’s in the southeast corner of the building next to the Athletic Trainer station and in the northeast corner of the building outside of merchandise sales. First aid cabinets are also located on each floor. 

 

Where are restrooms located?

Restrooms are conveniently located along the main concourse. Family, All Gender, and Mothers rooms can be found at the end of the concourse near the snack bar. The throwing area on Level 2 and the warm-up track on level 4 also have restrooms adjacent. 

 

Where is the snack bar located?

the Track at New Balance’s snack bar is located at the end of the main concourse on Level 3. 

 

Where can I purchase coffee?

Coffee is sold at the TRACK snack bar in addition to Bagel Table and Kohi Coffee located on Guest St. 

 

Where can I purchase food?

Grab and Go Items: in-house snack bar, Cambridge Naturals, Kohi Coffee and Crumbl Cookies.

Meals: American Flatbread, Rail Stop, Bagel Table, and Broken Records Beer Hall.

Are food and drinks permitted on the track surface?

The consumable items permitted on the track surface are water and protein bars.

 

Are animals permitted in the building?

Only service animals are permitted inside the building.

 

To help us offer a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants and visitors, the following items are not permitted in the TRACK at New Balance. This list is not limited to the below and additional items will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Balloons
  • Umbrellas that do not collapse to 12 inches or less
  • Drones
  • Hoverboards, scooters, wheeled shoes
  • Flammable items
  • Laser pointers
  • Unsportsmanlike language or conduct
  • Inappropriate signage
  • Drugs/alcohol
  • Stickers, glitter or confetti
  • Firearms or weapons of any kind
  • All persons and or bags are subject to search upon entry
